Square Enix has more than just a few games up its sleeve as of late and a surprisingly large chunk of them happens to be within the Final Fantasy universe. With PAX East 2017 starting in just four days, Square has released its plans for the expo and attendants should be ready for a long wait to get some hands-on time with any of these titles.
The games that Square plan to have playable demos for at PAX East include:
- Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Gladiolus DLC (first ever hands-on opportunity)
- Final Fantasy XIV
- Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age
- Dragon Quest Heroes II
- I Am Setsuna (Nintendo Switch Edition)
- KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
- NieR: Automata
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – A Criminal Past
- Ride 2 (hmm…)
At PAX though, none of that matters! What matters is how full you can get those swag bags before it all comes to an end. Not to be outdone by the countless other booths, Square will be giving players a chance to compete in the Warring Triad Challenge for a chance to win Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood T-Shirts. In addition, you can win special prizes for DQH II, NieR, and FF: Brave Exvius by just taking pictures and sharing on social media. In addition, some awesome posters will be given out that feature the titles above as well as Flame x Blaze, Mobius Final Fantasy, and an FF 30th anniversary poster designed by Yoshitaka Amano.
PAX East 2017, formally PAX Prime, will be running from March 10th to march 12th in Boston, MA and remains the company’s biggest expo. In addition to Square Enix, many other developers come out to shower fans with exclusive game demos, some reveals, and some sweet ass swag.
